Day 3 - Buenos Aires + the nightbus to Posadas

After we had seen quite a lot on our first day in Buenos Aires we decided to relax little more this day - so after a little walk, we took a taxi to the area of "Palermo".

In Palermo we visited the Botanic Garden, which was a nice place to relax ;)

After a cafe in Palermo Soho - a very nice and fancy area, we needed to go back to the hotel, to catch the night bus to Posadas ...

The night busses are really nice! The seats are like in business class in a plane, and they served some drinks and food :)

So it was quite relaxing - and it was getting dark outside. Some people watched the movie, some slept already - and then out of nothing there was a loud BANG, and the window behind Robert (on the left side) "exploded"... it sounded like a shoot or something - so people were screaming, but after a short moment of surprise we noticed, that everybody was fine - but the window was totally destroyed - and the bus full of glas !

After a minute some of the bus attendance came and had a look - but the bus kept moving. Everybody was fine, so we stopped at the next gas station...

As you can see, they are well prepared and had directly some kind of "wooden" thing, to close the window again...

Including some tape - and the bus was ready for leaving again. So after some beers at the gas station, we continued the trip.

So, what has happend? (unfortunately nobody found the right answer to our quiz...) The local people from the gas station told us, this is a typical trick by some gangsters.... they throw stones to windows of night buses, to stop them in the dark - and then enter the bus, to get money, cameras, ... from the passengers. Luckily the were not able to hit the front window, and our driver could continue the ride to the next "public" place ;) So after a little shock, everything went well and we had some additional drinks and some food ;)

We arrived finally in Posadas....
